Patrick is an experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer (2011-2021), who worked in the largest IP office in Latin America for 5 years (2013-2018). He was CEO of 3 companies founded by himself: Kizumba (mobile app, 2015-2018), Kult (mobile app, 2020-present), and Porto ID (now called Klave, 2020-present). A born entrepreneur, he moved from Rio de Janeiro to Porto in August 2019 to study a Master in Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Porto. From the time he arrived in Portugal until May 2020, Patrick worked as an Uber Eats courier, translator, and everything else that came his way, until he finally founded Kult and Klave in June 2020 while studying for his master’s degree.

Currently, acting simultaneously as CEO of Kult and Klave, after completing the Master in Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Porto (2019-2021, thesis to be presented by June 22). Kult, a startup based in Porto, has already received a total investment of 125,000 USD and participated as an Alpha Startup at the Websummit Lisbon 2021. Klave provides services to Israeli customers who need to issue Portuguese citizen cards and passports in Porto and Lisbon. The company has already received more than 1000 clients in 2021, expecting to reach more than 5000 in 2022. The company, founded as Porto ID, was renamed in 2022 as Klave, due to its next step, in investment consulting for Israeli clients.

Felipe began his entrepreneurial career at the age of 15, at Colégio Agrícola Federal de Inconfidentes, where he graduated as a technician in agribusiness. His first work experience was at the Verde Campo dairy, one of the main ones in Minas Gerais, and he was responsible for implementing innovative products on the production line (2007-2009). After 2 years of much learning, he joined the Economics course at the Federal University of Ouro Preto, working in the 5 years of graduation in academic projects that fostered entrepreneurship and business innovation within the municipality (2009-2015). After graduating, he worked for 2 years as an operational manager in a food business in the city of Belo Horizonte. Felipe was responsible for the study, planning, and franchising of this establishment. From his entry, in 2015, to his departure, in 2017, 2 new units were opened and the expansion to main points in the city was completed. Felipe decided to leave the enterprise to start studying English in Dublin, where he stayed for two years and had numerous work experiences in the Irish city. In 2019, he moved to Portugal and started his master’s degree in Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship at the University of Porto. During his master’s degree, he participated in the Portuguese government program called Startup Voucher, in which he developed his first venture in Portugal. Felipe is the founder and investor of the company Plantz, which produces and delivers ready-to-eat, deep-frozen, and 100% plant-based meals in the city of Porto. Together with this venture and in partnership with their partner Patrick Rahy, they developed the company PortoId, which initially focused its operation on accompanying Israeli customers in the process of applying for a citizen card and Passport in the city of Porto. Currently, after a rebranding of the brand, it was renamed Klave and expanded its operations to the city of Lisbon, where it offers a wider range of services to its clients, mainly real estate and business investments, transport, tax residency, tourism among others.
